Ultratech : if you buy and hold long it doesn't matter. if it goes down you just paid a little more "premium".  these naysayers saying dont do it are afraid of bag holding. meta has looked like its about to fall off a cliff and turns around and goes up 5% it all depends on market we hold up and down. I've bought stocks like avgo high before and it dips after then a week later its back inches along higher this was before it split.

I do know that the media is very good at controlling people's emotions and their spending habits. if when you turn on the TV on ABC CBS NBC all they focus on is how costs are going to rise as a result of tariffs how your dollars going to buy less relative to other countries currency how the economy is slowing down under President Trump how we're headed towards a recession how the stock market is done so terribly in the past hundred days people slow spending.. so this is how you manufacture recession by programming the minds of people. the numbers Wednesday are going to speak for themselves it's as simple as that because you've got an Atlanta fed a New York fed and a Chicago fed that all hate Trump and are all saying we're going into a recession but yet these are the people that proclaim we need data in order to make a determination but they have no problem rendering an opinion based off of partisan politics given the opportunity to slam Trump

ASteffie 10baggerbamm OP : Exactly, you and I aren't willing it, but you've got a lot of people that would like Trump to fail and gain power back.  You've got about half of the country trying to be convinced there's no choice but for us to have a full-blown recession ... but.... they literally never talk about the good things.  The economic data doesn't show a recession yet. There are a lot more ways that money is flowing in than out now, a lot of wheels turning.
