Ultraboom OP 102614431 : What i meant by 'lesson for 2026/2027 will be panic selling', is due to the worst is yet to come, i think the next few months to next year will get even worst, and people who panic sold or going to panic sell, will learn the lesson in 2026 and 2027 when market eventually recovers, then fomo kicks in and cycle continues.
As for the holdings u have now, i cant give buy or sell advice, but I generally avoid large conglomerates and most large caps, u need to reexamine why u bought the stocks u did, a stock's price will be tied to its earnings long term, genting isnt doing well cos their earnings havent improve and is expected to worsen.
I also have an issue with genting CEO, he's the highest paid CEO of bursa companies, i think he's being paid way too much, especially considering their poor earnings performance
But a potential good thing is the Lim family stepped down from CEO role, the COO took over and hopefully hes a professional and will run the business well, but remains to be seen

Ultraboom : Decent QR, not as good as q1 and q2 but better than q3, overall FY24 dragged by bad q3 cos long public holidays, despite coming frm a high base last year (2023 was a fantastic year for automotive), revenue is flat while profits are up due to efficiency improvements, i think management did a good job in controlling cost, moving forward a stronger myr shud lower input cost, the real catalyst wud b their auto hub scheduled to start operation in 2H25
